²⁰ The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand on the shore of the sea. They ate, and they drank, and they were happy. ²¹ Solomon ruled over all of the kingdoms in the land that extended from the river over to the land of the Philistines and down to the border with Egypt. They brought tribute and served Solomon for his entire lifetime.
